New Year Celebrations with Children from Muchatha; a slum in Juja
I have been to Kibera, Mukuru, Mathare, and Kiambiyu slums which are larger slums under all standards compared to Muchatha. But, Muchatha is one of the most risky slum of all, even to walk through during the day. An armed police officer got his phone snatched lately in this slum. We thank God we reached 60 children with lunch at Skyline hotel in Juja. It was all celebrations. We look forward to start empowering women and the youth economically. We seek, for placements in orphanages for some of the children and look forward for a more regular feeding program.
