Planning for another mission to Lodwar


Next week (12th to 15th September 2011)  we are joining another team to take food to Turkana Northern Kenya. Join us as we save our brothers from drought and floods.

We need the confidence of Joshua and Caleb who "said to the entire Israelite assembly, 'The land we passed through and explored is exceedingly good. If the LORD is pleased with us, he will lead us into that land, a land flowing with milk and honey, and will give it to us. Only do not rebel against the LORD. And do not be afraid of the people of the land, because we will swallow them up. Their protection is gone, but the LORD is with us. Do not be afraid of them'."(Numbers 14:7-9). Even after forty years in the wilderness, they kept that same spirit of victory.

  The Institution of Marriage When God noted that man was lonely, it became a profound turning point in the creation account. For the first time, God declared that something was not good. Not because of a flaw in creation, but because man was alone, lacking the fellowship he was created to enjoy. God is a relational God, and man was formed in His image. Man reflects God’s relational nature, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in perfect fellowship. As God desires communion with man, man was made to live in communion and not in isolation.  And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him . ...
