Embracing a Culture of Love and Peacefulness
Everyday when I wake
up and head off to serve
the Lord at
, one thing always crosses
my mind. What if again
today we have another
uprising and our very own familes/friends and tribes
fight among each other
for land and water.

The recent , fighting of hundreds of farmers that were attached with 48 deaths in the southeastern Kenya due to the escalation of ongoing clashes between the farming and pastoral communities over ladn and resources underscores the value of our work to bring peace and unity among ethnic divisions.
Over the past two years, Glorious Grace Ministires has embarked on an holistic approach to promote peace and unity. By embracing a culture of love and peacegiving, we have embarked on a strategic programme to unite communities. We want to make our communities realize and understand that the problems are common, and can be resolved. We are taking a three pronged approach to social inclusion:
1. Educating our communities that natural resource such as land, water and nature, should be enjoyed by everyone irrespective of tribe, culture and belief. Everyone must have accesses ...and that people should participate in decisions that are made by outside people on natural resources.
2. Uniting people through love and peacefulness and letting them understand that they all share the same problems of injustices. Glorious Grace Ministry will embark on an effective community strategy to allow ethnic minorities to see the problems they face in a common prism- everyone in the region suffers the same challenges, and therefore a common agenda should be put on the table to address it.
3. Telling the story of unity- Glorious Grace Ministry will aim to document stories of change that will allow others to see and share progress made after on unity among themselves after the retreat.
Please join Glorious Grace Ministry in this historic event by contacting us for further information on how you can participate- virtually or physically as we begin our journey for peace in November 2012
